I love designing reception florals that feel lush, intentional, and timeless. This wedding reception at Twenty and Creek Venue in Sandy, Utah was a beautiful example of how soft color, thoughtful details, and statement installations can completely transform a space.

With planning by Everson Events and photography by Beth Mac Photo, this reception featured a refined palette of white and blue blooms accented with lush greenery, creating an atmosphere that felt romantic, elevated, and welcoming from the moment guests arrived.

Statement Reception Florals

One of the focal points of the reception was a large floral mantle installation. Designed with layered white blooms, soft blue accents, and flowing greenery, the arrangement added depth and elegance to the room while highlighting the venue’s architectural details. It anchored the space beautifully and served as a stunning backdrop throughout the evening.

Another standout design element was the staircase installation. We adorned the banisters with cascading smilax greenery, allowing it to climb organically up the staircase for a lush, garden-inspired look. We also placed floral ground pieces at the base of the stairs on both sides to draw the eye to the stunning staircase. To enhance the ambiance, white pillar candles were placed going up the stairs, adding warmth, romance, and soft glow as guests moved throughout the reception space.

Refined Guest Table Design

The guest tables were designed to feel light, airy, and cohesive with the overall floral vision. Each table featured:

• Light blue taper candles in elegant gold holders
• Glass ribbed tealight candles for a warm glow and texture
• A collection of modern bud vases filled with white and blue blooms

The tablescape was elevated even further by details curated by the planning team, including pearl table runners and table numbers finished with a delicate blue bow. These subtle touches added texture and charm while tying seamlessly into the color palette.
